Is Your Team Whole Brained?

Tuesday, 14 March 2017 05:32

As much as our culture may romanticise the idea of the lone-wolf, humans are social creatures and we have always worked in teams. Teams bring massive value to our work, and are becoming more important and prominent in the contemporary workforce. Aside from the benefit of simply having more people working on the job, teams bring benefits through the mixing of ideas, talent and skills. The discussions that arise from contrasting ideas lead to synergy and better outcomes.

Leading organisations are already seeking to improve diversity in their workforce. Often though, these good intentions are implemented in ways that leave a lot to be desired...

I would most definitely recommend the scavenger hunt, (and I have been) and I'd give it a score of 5. It was well run and well organised. The hunt itself was difficult enough that there was a little bit of a challenge but not so hard that we were all at a loss, and having Aileen there in case we got too stuck was great. My only disappointment was that it was too short! All the guests were raving about how great it was and I was even told by a few that it was the best hens they've ever been to.

Hopefully, that answers your questions well enough. I am so grateful for Aileen and all her help and hardwork. Trying to organise a hens from the other side of the country was going to be difficult enough but Aileen just made it so easy. It was just an amazing day, we had so much fun and I couldn't have asked for it to be better. You're more than welcome to use my response as testimonial. I couldn't rate the experience high enough!
